Fight Club & Freemasonry | April 2020

$5.00

“Hit me as hard as you can.” The Southern California Research Lodge explores the Fight Club (novel/film) mythos and it’s parallels to Freemasonry with contributions and excerpts by Masonic scholars: Robert W. Sullivan, W.L. Wilmhurst, John J. Robinson, Manly P. Hall, H.W. Percival, Darin A. Lhaners, Robert G. Davis, Michael Jarzabek and Robert Johnson.  It’s timely subjects of isolation, duality, consumerism, masculine anxiety, and role modeling are issues many of the men that enter our lodges are confronting today, and on Fight Club’s 20th anniversary, we have decided to explore its role in our society - in particular our fraternity. Pop culture and the craft collide into one, with this unique and exciting issue.
